John Mionczynski and Benjamin Scott Clark ethnobotanical experience with Wyoming River Trips Cody, Wyoming

This past Sunday was a fantastic day in Cody, Wyoming.  John Mionczynski and I were invited by the folks at Wyoming River Trips to teach an ethnobotanical foraging and plant medicine field trip class. https://wyomingrivertrips.com

John led the field trip and the river guides guided us down the Shoshone River where we stopped on two different sections of the river to get out of our rafts and hike to various botanical biomes.  John answered people's questions in the expert way that John does.  People were asked if they would be interested in doing a trip like this in the future and they said they most definitely would love to do another one.  When we returned to the Wyoming River Trips shop I had the opportunity to describe my business and show some examples of some of the hydrosols, tinctures and our new product called Arnica Pain Oil that was designed for American Wilderness Botanicals by Heather Jones of Enchantment Creek Apothecary located near Cody in the Powell, Wyoming area.  The experience with John Mionczynski was (as always) very informative and I learned a great deal.  John is an invaluable source of information on indigenous botanicals and Native American use of plant medicine.  There is a whole universe of highly useful knowledge to gain from the vast and diverse botanical world of the western region of North America.
